Poor repointing Work
I have seen many examples of poor repointing work through the years and often have the unenviable job of having to remove excess mortar from brickwork using acid. Although it can seem very tempting to cut costs by "having a go yourself" in reality, you will be damaging your brickwork and making an unsightly mess, which will lead to a significant reduction in the value of your property.
It has taken me many years of experience to acquire the necessary skills to ensure that your re-pointing work will be finished to a high standard.
Always ask for references and examples of work from a contractor. If they can not provide any, chances are that they have unhappy customers, or that they have not done much repointing work.
